8 Hybrid Leadership Competencies
May 2025
Hybrid work, defined as the collaboration of dispersed teams out of a mix of company facilities, business travel locations, home offices and ‘anywhere offices’ has become mainstream in professions where work can be done with digital communication and collaboration tools.

In this paper we start by reviewing why organizations would want to work in a hybrid way and what challenges this presents. Then we will present our scientifically validated model of 8 hybrid leadership competencies, and conclude the paper with a set of recommendations.
